How to get the IP adress of the Raspberry Pi

Weather you need to configure a router or a server. Sometimes you need to know the IP adress of your Raspberry Pi.

Opent the terminal and enter

ifconfig

In the following output can you find the ethernet as well as the wireless IP of your device.
